Coronation Public School
The upper campus at Coronation provides a segregated play area for younger children (K-3) during recess. Several years ago the old creative playground was removed leaving the younger children with little to no facilities for play. The upper campus is located at the rear of the school and is subjected to ongoing property damage.
The redevelopment of the playground had to negate to the impact of vandalism while providing the children with increased range of activity.
The sand of the Salamander Earthworks is designed to provide children with a wide range of creative and cognitive play opportunities, in separate "outdoor rooms".

Playground Safety Inspectors ensure that natural playgrounds meet or exceed accessibility standards, provide access by ramp, transfer, and groundcover systems that conform to ASTM and proposed ADA playground accessibility standards.
